The setting is new, but the expansion still feels like the core game. Kirkhope scored the criminally underappreciated Donkey Kong 64, and it’s a pleasure to hear his return to the brand. Goofy visuals, sight gags and Grant Kirkhope’s score teleport you away from the Mushroom Kingdom and into Donkey Kong country. Other then that it's a well done dlc with even better visuals then the original with some awsome and hilarious cutscenes with great new ideas, however it's over faster then you know it and doesn't even come close to a challenge if you beat expert levels in the original game.
